Yes! Membership costs can be paid in full using Airpoints Dollars™. Payment by Flexipay™ isn't accepted (...yet).

A joining fee applies to new memberships and members renewing their membership more than one month after expiry of an existing membership. We'll waive the joining fee if you renew your membership within one month of expiry.

Koru memberships start as soon as your payment has been processed, so you can enjoy Koru benefits immediately.

A copy of your Koru membership receipt will be emailed to you immediately.  Your Koru membership pack should arrive at the address specified in your Airpoints profile, within 25 business days after payment has been received.

Single-entry lounge vouchers are not available to purchase, however, they are awarded to Silver members based on meeting the eligibility criteria.

You can find the expiry date for your lounge voucher(s) by downloading the Air NZ app and accessing the 'Airpoints' tab.

Please note that there will be times where capacity is restricted to members only. This means that at peak periods in some ports, lounge access will not be available to Lounge eVoucher holders, member's guests and at times, may not be able to be redeemed when desired.

If you've recently applied for an Airpoints earning credit card, it may take up to 1 month for us to have proof that your card has been activated. You will be able to join easily online after this time. Alternatively, if you need to purchase a Koru membership sooner, then please reach out to our Koru contact centre.

Valet parking is not a Koru programme benefit, however, can be purchased for an additional cost.

Membership fees can be paid in full with Airpoints Dollars™, credit or debit card or your Air New Zealand Travelcard. Payment by Flexipay™ isn't accepted (...yet).

Koru members can access the lounge when departing on an Air New Zealand operated flight, with an Air New Zealand ticket (starting with '086') and a flight number starting with 'NZ'.

If you have purchased your ticket through another airline or travel agent, the boarding pass may contain another airline code and flight number, which would make you ineligible to access an Air New Zealand Regional, Domestic or International lounge as a Koru member. The second flight number can be seen directly under the NZ flight number.

Koru replacement cards are no longer available to purchase, and your digital Koru card can now be accessed via the Air NZ app and the new Koru member dashboard.

You can present the digital Koru card to gain access to partner lounges and show proof of your Extra Guest when asked.
